Here are some ideas to help you keep your kids safe and to let them have fun at the same time.

Host a Halloween Event at Your Home: You can choose a party with events like bobbing for apples and decorating jack o’ lanterns or a simple get together where your guests pass out candy to your neighbors. Either way, you can set the tone and have some control over the evening.

Set a Tradition of Wearing a Family Costume: If you begin a tradition of a themed costume for your family when the kids are young, they are more likely to be open to continuing to spend the holiday together, keeping them close where you can keep an eye on them. If you pick a unique theme, it will be that much easier to spot your kids in the crowd!
